My work is grounded in a genuine appreciation for New Zealand’s landscapes and the way people live within them.
Years spent living in natural settings, and exploring New Zealand's coastlines, forests, and backcountry, have enabled me to developed a thorough understanding of the opportunities and challenges that come with building on lifestyle, rural, and coastal sites.
This ability to accurately interpret a site - its views, climate, sun paths, prevailing weather, access, and character - has become an integral part of my design process.
With over a decade of experience in bespoke residential design, and both Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degrees, I'm able to provide a thoughtful and well-guided design service from the first concept through to construction.
My aim is always to create homes that feel naturally connected to their surroundings and deeply suited to the people who live in them.
Good architecture works with the land rather than against it.
I design homes that respond to their surroundings, perform well in their climate, and create a strong connection between people and place — supporting a more comfortable and grounded way of living.
